Audley Group has promoted Joanna Lander as care director, formally head of care operation at Audley Care.
Lander takes on the new role after working at Audley for the past eight years, starting as care branch manager in 2010 before progressing to become regional operations manager in 2012 and head of care operation in 2015.
In total, she has worked in the care industry for almost 20 years, initially qualifying as a care assistant and starting her care career at Allied Healthcare. In her position of care director Lander will continue to develop Audley Care’s status and position as a highly regarded care business, overseeing the work of Audley’s 10 care branches, with more in the pipeline inline with the opening of new Audley Villages.
She says: “My new role will be about further enhancing the services we provide, enabling our teams of carers to work with customers to improve their general health and wellbeing. Providing our carers with the right tools, excellent training and ongoing support enables them to understand their customers over and above just being a ‘carer’. It is the key to providing high quality support.”
Paul Morgan, managing director of operations at Audley says: “Joanna has always been a fantastic asset to the team at Audley. Audley Care has expanded rapidly over the last few years and Joanna has progressed with it. Her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow in the coming years.”
