Chubb Locks Custodial Services (CLCS) has marked its 200th anniversary with customers, ex and long-standing employees all coming together at its Willenhall headquarters to celebrate.
Designing, manufacturing and installing high performance locking solutions for custodial and high security healthcare and government premises, CLCS has been the expert in its field for 200 years.
The event, which brought together past and present employees, as well as customers from across its markets, was designed to celebrate 200 years as the industry’s trusted partner. Neil Vann, CEO for Assa Abloy UK (market region manager) and Simon Teagle, managing director for CLCS, welcomed guests with presentations about their personal history with the company and its future innovation.
Guests were then treated to a presentation by renowned local historian Dr Carl Chinn, who covered CLCS’ and Willenhall’s rich heritage in the locking industry.
Speaking after the event, Simon Teagle, said: “We were very pleased with the birthday celebrations and it was great to see so many past and current employees, together with our customers, marking CLCS’ 200th anniversary.
"As a business whose success has been largely thanks to its loyal employees and team ethos, it was particularly important to us to bring everyone together to remember our past and celebrate the future.”
