Bedroom furniture range relaunched

David Bailey Furniture Systems has relaunched its range of bedroom furniture for care homes and hospitals.

The bedroom furniture, originally introduced by David Bailey in the early 1990s, was discontinued when the company took the decision to diversify into the education and veterinary markets and streamline its healthcare offering. However, with the care sector becoming a key growth area for UK construction in recent years, the company has relaunched its bedroom furniture for care homes and hospitals.

Trevor Gillman, owner and managing Director of David Bailey Furniture Systems, says: “With the number of people aged over 65 in the UK forecast to be 50 per cent higher in 2035 than it was in 2010, demand for care home places is expected to exceed the number of bed spaces available in the next five years.

“So the pressure is really on the UK construction sector to provide enough care homes over the coming years to avoid demand outstripping supply.

“Our newly relaunched bedroom furniture range is both durable and cost-effective and meets the high standards our customers have come to expect.”

Designed to complement the company’s successful Healthcare furniture range, David Bailey’s bedroom furniture includes a comprehensive selection of storage units, wardrobes, bookcases, bedside cabinets and bedroom accessories ideally suited to the care home and hospital ward environments.

Durable and classic, the bedroom furniture is available in three finishes – ash, beech or oak – and comes in both popular sizes and bespoke designs. All of the bedroom furniture for care homes and hospitals comes ready-assembled, however if customers require assistance, a team of fitters are on hand to help with the installation process.
