Audley Villages has released the interior plans for its first London retirement village on Nightingale Lane, Clapham Common; designed alongside interior design business Bernard Interiors, the plans break the mould in terms of what many expect of retirement properties.
The scheme has already received planning permission to deliver a 13,750 sqm luxury retirement village, offering excellent transport links with a wide variety of shops and amenities nearby. On completion, the village will be home to 94 one, two and three-bedroom apartments overlooking Clapham Common, designed to the highest specification and combined with flexible care as and when needed. All care will be delivered by Audley’s CQC regulated care provider Audley Care, also available to those in the local area.
Audley Nightingale Place will welcome its first property owners in 2020 following the completion of the first phase of development. It will also be home to the Audley Club, offering luxurious facilities including a library, restaurant and bar, swimming pool and luxury health club which will be available to those living at Nightingale Place as well as the local community.
Kevin Shaw, managing director of Audley Villages says: “As you reach an older age you are gifted with the luxury of more time to pursue and enjoy the things you love, and where better to do that than in London. As a result, more and more people are looking to stay in or move to the capital as they get older, yet there are very few high-quality options allowing them to do so.
"Designed to reflect one of the world’s most vibrant cities, Audley Nightingale Place will have stunning interiors and luxurious facilities throughout. We’ve listened to the high expectations of our prospective owners and the designs speak for themselves, offering beautiful purpose-built properties that will fit with their lifestyles and allow them to live in a home they can be proud of.”
