LifeCare Residences has announced the appointment of David Knight as the new general manager of Grove Place.
David joins from Elmers Court Hotel and Resort, part of the Macdonald Hotels group, located just outside of Lymington on the edge of the New Forest. As resort general manager, David oversaw all aspects of operations across the 42 rooms, 54 timeshare accommodation units and 750-member leisure club and spa, placing great emphasis on guest experience and customer service.
Prior to joining Elmers Court Hotel and Resort, David spent two years as general manager of Audleys Wood Hotel, part of the Hand Picked Hotels Group, located in Basingstoke. David also has over 12 years’ experience, working in senior positions within the hospitality sector, across Hampshire and Dorset.
As general manager at Grove Place, David is responsible for the successful day to day running of the community, ensuring a first-rate level of service for all residents and staff, as well as maintaining and enhancing its person-centred approach to care.
