Audley has been selected as a finalist in two categories of the LaingBuisson 2017 awards.
The LaingBuisson awards, nicknamed the ‘Oscars’ of the health and social care sector, reward and celebrates excellence within the sector. Audley has been selected as a finalist in the Extra Care category for the provision and development of extra care or retirement facilities, while Audley Care has been selected as a finalists in the Homecare category for providing outstanding care in people’s own homes.
Audley Care provides care to owners in the village and those living within a 20-mile radius, ensuring the promptest response possible. Care services delivered include a helping hand with daily domestic tasks, personal care, and, most importantly, a trusted face and someone to listen. Each of Audley’s 15 luxury retirement villages are tailored to the needs of older people, and 24 hour care is available to owners if needed.
Nick Sanderson, CEO Audley Retirement, says: “We are thrilled to have been nominated in two categories of the LaingBuisson awards. At Audley we place a huge emphasis on ensuring each of our owners are treated with dignity and their happiness and wellbeing is the number one priority for us.
“We’ve introduced a number of initiatives aimed at further improving the quality of care at Audley, including areas such as employee retention which has helped us provide more consistent round the clock care for our owners. It’s great to have these efforts recognised by the wider sector.”
