Staff and residents at a Garforth based care home marked the fifth birthday of national home provider HC-One recently with a celebratory tea party.
Festivities took place at Augustus Court and every HC-One home across the country as the care home provider commemorated the successful journey that it has taken since it’s founding in 2011.
Care centre manager, Adam Lyle, says: “We opened our doors to residents, families and the wider community and the turnout was a real testament to the integral part that Augustus Court plays within Garforth.
“We’re delighted to be a part of the HC-One family and we’re extremely proud of our carers and the hard work that they put in each and every day to ensure that residents receive the best care possible. We’re all excited to see what the next five years brings!”
On the day, residents and families enjoyed participating in a reminiscence session, looking back at the parties and celebrations they enjoyed in the past.
Augustus Court officially opened its doors in April 2016 by TV presenter and journalist Angela Rippon.
The stylish 58-bed residential care centre prides itself on its high quality living standards and facilities, which includes restaurants, a cinema room, beauty salon, gym, library, coffee shop and gardens.
