Greenbanks Nursing Home in Liphook, Hampshire, has been purchased by care provider Kindred Care, which operates throughout the south east of England.
Yasheen Rajan of Kindred Care, says: "Greenbanks is a fantastic home. Smaller homes have the benefit of a much greater familial setting. We believe this is how people prefer to be cared for. We plan to invest substantially in Greenbanks and create a beacon for dementia care. Making it an integral part of the local community is at the forefront of our mind."
With completion having taken place on 25 January, the sale marked the first success of 2017 for the southern office of DC Care, following on from a record breaking 2016. Speaking on behalf of DC Care, business appraiser Andy Sandel says: "It's good to start the year with some good news, and both myself and Clare Duffey who managed the sale, are delighted for the vendors, and of course for Mr Rajan. Liphook is a desirable location on the Hampshire, Surrey border and Greenbanks is a very well presented and managed nursing home; the sale works well for both parties."
