Specialist care group sold for undisclosed sum

24-7 Care Limited has been sold by healthcare business agents DC Care for an undisclosed sum.

The business, which includes residential and supported living units located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire was acquired by the Chesterfield based specialist provider Heathcotes Group.

Commenting on the acquisition Mikkel Togsverd, managing director of Heathcotes Southern says: "We are extremely pleased with the acquisition of the 24-7 Care services. The company has a strong track record of achieving great outcomes for people with complex needs and challenging behaviours which is quite similar to Heathcotes’. The acquisition is a strategic fit geographically, because of the supported living services which complement our care homes and as a model we are exploring."

The sale, which completed just days before Christmas, marked the end of a hugely successful year for DC Care. Andy Sandel, southern based business appraiser for DC Care, who managed the sale, says: "We are delighted to have concluded this deal and have enjoyed a busy start to 2017, with more transactions moving towards completion."
