In an expansion of its world-leading Specialist Nutrition range, care homes meals provider, apetito and Wiltshire Farm Foods Professional has introduced a selection of brand-new IDDSI Level 6 texture-modified dishes to enhance mealtimes for those residents living with dysphagia.
This launch brings four additional Soft and Bite-Sized meals to care home menus, including a lightly spiced and creamy Chicken Tikka Masala with turmeric seasoned rice and a rich Beef Chilli served with coriander rice. Both dishes provide a Gluten Free option, as well as achieving Energy Dense and High Protein coding.
Alongside these is the new Chicken Pasta Bake that includes a velvety Wyke Farms’ Cheddar cheese sauce to stir through before serving, and a warming Irish Stew packed with mutton, pearl barley, carrots and onions and served with cheddar mash and herby root vegetables. These dishes also meet Energy Dense and High Protein coding, ensuring residents get all the nutrition they need for a balanced diet.
