Mercian Group will deliver a 68-bed care home development in Somerset for not-for-profit provider Amica Care Trust.
The 1.35-acre site is located within the Orchard Grove masterplan in Taunton. Amenities at the new home will include a hair salon, café, cinema/bar, sensory room, and landscaped gardens. The home will be 100 per cent electric powered and is expected to achieve a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ accreditation.
