What to expect from Carebeans:
You can expect an exceptionally high quality product - our care planning and management system is on the NHS Assured Solutions list as a digital social care record (DSCR) offering the core capabilities social care providers need from a DSCR.
We work closely with the Professional Records Standards Body (PRSB), who develop clinical standards for health and social care records, and meet the requirements for their Personalised Care and Support Plan standard. This includes our ‘About Me’ document which reached the highest level of conformance from PRSB at Level 3.
From the word go, Carebeans will provide you with full support to seamlessly implement our system into your service, enabling you to deliver exceptional care, whilst also ensuring that you are evidencing full compliance with the Regulations and latest guidance from the Care Quality Commission and Local Authorities.
Quickly and easily you can add service users to the system, adding key health and social information, plus personal data - safe in the knowledge it is secure and protected.
The system contains a range of evidence based assessments along with a full suite of holistic care plans and risk assessments to allow robust and comprehensive person centred care planning.
There is the ability to create individualised actions/support requirements that care staff can access via the app and record against, in a timely manner, in line with excellent record keeping.
Actions can alert care staff when due, and alert a management dashboard page if not done. Once completed, actions recalculate to when next due. They can also be scheduled to appear on certain days. This allows care staff to work efficiently by prioritising their workload therefore delivering the best care and support they can. Any concerns can be shared to the management dashboard page and/or saved to a digital handover list, so that appropriate action can be taken.
Many reports can be generated at the touch of a button, for example, fluid intake over the day with targets to avoid dehydration; weight charts with weight loss alerts; behaviour patterns and interventions, to name a few.
Data can be collated on a dedicated statistics page to demonstrate patterns in the service such as infection rates, falls, incidents and many other pieces of data vital for running a safe and efficient service. Along with learning logs to document action taken to make improvements. This demonstrates that you have systems in place to achieve good governance.
Staff data can also be collated to report on staff compliance, training, reading of care plans, along with many other useful reports.
We have rostering, time and attendance, and other functions to ensure you have a clear picture of your staffing situation.
With the above (and more), plus the option of a form builder to create bespoke documentation, we can help your service to be the best it can be.
Implementation of Carebeans:
A huge part of the implementation process is the ability to get all staff on board quickly and effectively. The key goal being that everyone has full knowledge on how to use the system both confidently and competently.
We recognise it can be a real concern for some staff who feel they ‘aren’t good with technology’ and we know it is so important for us to understand those feelings and get it right at that early stage. This is where our team excels with our onboarding process and training programme. Our goal is for all staff to feel a sense of excitement using the system, rather than fearing it.
Customers receive comprehensive training divided into separate sessions and aimed at all staff levels, so that everyone feels ready to get going. We gauge competencies early on, and plan the sessions accordingly. We can do refresher sessions, and one to ones with anyone that may be struggling.
We know it will ultimately save care staff time, meaning more time to spend with those they are supporting. However at the initial stage this can seem to some like an impossibility. But the key is to know and feel that they have us to hand, and it will all be ok!
We offer ongoing support where you can speak to one of our friendly team members who will be able to help, or put you in touch with the right specialist who can. Our team includes experts who can advise on any technical support you may need, and nurses who can advise and support on the health and social care side.
