Thames Ditton home renamed after riverside location

Home of Compassion in Thames Ditton undergoing a name change to better reflect its location on the banks of the River Thames.

From Friday 1 March the home will be known as Thames View (an Aria Care Community). The renaming marks a new chapter for the grade II listed building which dates back to the 18th century.

Paul Fenech, home manager at Home of Compassion, said: “We are so excited for this new chapter. We are in such a beautiful location, right on the banks of the River Thames, and both colleagues and residents alike love to sit out and admire the views.

“The name ‘Thames View’ feels much more reflective of life at the home and although the name might change, the hearts are still the same.”

Ruth Yates, managing director of operations at Aria Care, commented: “As we embark on this exciting new chapter, our exceptional person-centred care, hospitality and lifestyle offering continues to place our residents at the heart of everything we do and Thames View will continue to be a symbol of unparalleled care, timeless elegance, and gracious living.

“We look forward to continuing to develop our relationships in the local community, working together to provide support in the Thames Ditton area.”
