UK Care Week unveils 2024 agenda

The organisers of UK Care Week have unveiled the agenda for the upcoming 2024 event, which takes place on 20/21 March at NEC Birmingham.

This 2024 features a diverse line-up of industry thought leaders who will explore key themes essential for shaping the future of social care.

The UK Care Week 2024 agenda will delve into critical themes, including Business & Facilities, Environments, Workforce & Skills, Wellbeing, and Technology in Care. The sessions are designed to provide care professionals with valuable insights, cutting-edge knowledge, and practical solutions to address the challenges and opportunities facing the care community.

Attendees can expect to hear from Louise Pearson, benefits manager at NHS England, Oonagh Smyth, chief executive of Skills for Care, Karolina Gerlich, CEO of The Care Workers Charity, Helena Zaum, director of business development at Sentinel Partners, Dr Jane Townson, CEO of Home Care Association, Professor Martin Green OBE, CEO of Care England, James Bullion, chief inspector at the CQC, Laurence Geller, chairman and CEO at Geller Capital Partners, Avnish Goyal CBE, chair of Hallmark Care Homes, and many others.

In addition, Helen Whately, Minister of State in the Department for Health and Social Care, will deliver a keynote address.
