Mearns View Care Home in East Renfrewshire, Scotland, has been officially opened by Scottish Care chief executive Dr Donald Macaskill.
The event at the purpose-built luxury care home in Newton Mearns was attended by residents, relatives, staff, healthcare professionals, and members of the local community. Attendees were treated to live entertainment, canapes, and glasses of bubbly, and were invited to tour the home and its facilities.
Mearns View Care Home offers person-centred residential, dementia, and nursing care for up to 67 residents. It offers community living, with residents having the reassurance that support from the home’s dedicated team is available around the clock. A plaque to commemorate the opening of the home was unveiled by Dr Macaskill.
