Hartford Care has acquired Inver House care home in Bembridge, on the Isle of Wight, from Somerset Care.
Rated ‘Good’ by the CQC, the 50-bed home has benefitted from significant recent investment, and offers residential care, end of life care, respite care and day care, along with dementia care in a dedicated 32-bedroom suite, Treetops, within the converted Edwardian building.
Inver House is Hartford Care’s fourth care home on the Isle of Wight, alongside Highfield Nursing Home in Ryde, Springfield Nursing Home in Shanklin, and The Elms in Bembridge. In total, the provider now has 21 homes and over 1,000 residents.
The acquisition of Inver House follows the agreement of a new credit facility with NatWest of £45m.
Kevin Shaw, CEO of Hartford Care, said: “Inver House has a fantastic reputation, and we are looking forward to welcoming the team to the Hartford Care family. Our team members are at the heart of our company and are extremely valued for the excellent care they provide to our residents. The acquisition of Inver House is another step towards achieving our goal to double in size over the next three years.”
