Hartford Care’s new residential care home – Cotswolds Rise, in Swindon – is due to open its doors to new residents at the end of October.
The new home will offer residential, dementia, and respite care across 66 en suite bedrooms. Located close to Swindon town centre, the home boasts landscaped gardens with patio areas and sun terraces, as well as lounges and dining rooms, a lifestyle kitchen, salon, and a shop. Designed with sustainability in mind, Cotswolds Rise has significant renewable energy elements, including solar panels, heat pumps, and battery storage systems.
Based in Basingstoke, Hartford Care currently has 18 care homes in Bristol, Berkshire (Burnham and Maidenhead), Devon (Sidmouth), Dorset (Poole), Hampshire (Aldershot, Barton-on-Sea, Four Marks, Hythe, Portsmouth, Winchester, and Woodlands), Isle of Wight (Bembridge, Ryde, and Shanklin), Oxfordshire (Witney) and Wiltshire (Downton and Swindon).
Ben Chance, group commissioning manager at Hartford Care, said: “We’re looking forward to opening the doors and welcoming new residents to Cotswolds Rise – our second care home in Wiltshire. There will be plenty to keep everyone entertained with a full activity programme and our communal spaces have been designed so that they can be enjoyed whether taking part in a large group activity or a smaller gathering, with plenty of quiet and calm spaces to suit all residents needs.”
