Person Centred Software, Oomph Wellness, and Autumna have announced their 4th consecutive year hosting #GladtoCare week.
Taking place between 12 and 16 June, the theme of this year’s #GladtoCare week is 'wellbeing'. Participants will be invited to engage with a variety of activities throughout the week, designed to get the entire care community and its residents involved.
Person Centred Software is also supporting the Care Workers' Charity, a non-profit organisation supporting individuals working in social care, by donating £2 every time somebody registers or downloads the #GladtoCare Toolkit.
Activities on offer during #GladtoCare week include Motivation Monday, where Jordan Burns from Fit For Good will be hosting a live fitness session, Wellbeing Wednesday, which will feature downloadable dance classes on the Oomph Demand Platform (Oomph having recently been acquired Person Centred Software), and Feel Good Friday, with its Canned Laughter Live Yoga Session.
Care homes can download a free #GladtoCare digital toolkit, including decorative bunting, display posters, social media graphics, and a bespoke activity calendar full of ideas for getting its residents involved.
Person Centred Software's marketing team member Yolanda said: "I thoroughly enjoy organising #GladtoCare and last year demonstrated how shining a light on the incredible work that carers do makes such a difference. This year's theme of 'wellbeing' couldn't have come at a better time. We want to maintain the momentum that self-care is more important than ever. Doing the things you enjoy can change your perspective on life. We hope you enjoy the newly added Oomph activities and have a wonderful week."
