WASHCO'S Love Laundry awards return with new category

Commercial laundry equipment specialist WASHCO will be championing unsung laundry heroes for the third year running with its 2023 Love Laundry Awards.

The Love Laundry Awards were established to recognise the hard work and dedication of care homes and their laundry teams. This year, WASHCO is launching a third category: Best Care Home Group. This will run in addition to the popular Love Laundry Hero Award, which honours an individual who has gone above and beyond the call of duty, and the Love Laundry Care Home Award, which shines a light on a care home that has implemented outstanding laundry processes.

The winner of the Love Laundry Hero Award will receive £250 to spend on electrical goods for themselves, while the Love Laundry Care Home winner will get £500 to spend on electrical goods for their care home. The winner of the new category, Best Care Home Group, will win £500 to spend on electrical goods and receive press coverage, including a case study feature on the WASHCO website.

The winners of the three awards will be announced at this year’s Care Show in October.

WASHCO’s head of marketing and projects Emily Stoten said: “The Love Laundry Awards are important to WASHCO, allowing us to support and recognise both the people and care homes who make a difference. We are looking forward to reading all the entries, particularly the newly launched Best Care Home Group Award.”

To enter, visit www.washco.co.uk/lovelaundryawards and fill in the online entry form. The closing date is 31 August 2023.
