Telecare monitoring centre Appello is partnering with Hero Labs in order to boost its Proactive Wellbeing Monitoring solution.
Appello operates the UK’s largest digital telecare monitoring centre and supports more than 300,000 elderly and vulnerable people across the UK, providing emergency call and digital safety and wellbeing innovations on behalf of local authority and housing provider customers.
Proactive Wellbeing Monitoring (PWM) utilises data insights from class-leading technologies to enable improvements in the delivery of community care, and to empower early intervention to reduce health- and property-related emergencies.
Appello is integrating with Hero Labs’ smart water management platform to help provide a comprehensive picture of resident activity. Hero Labs’ Sonic Smart Valve enables non-intrusive monitoring of resident water usage to provide early warnings should residents not make a cup of tea or use facilities as expected during the course of the day. It also provides protection in the case of a leak or elevated risk of Legionnaires disease.
