wissner bosserhoff raises pressure injury prevention awareness

Premium nursing bed manufacturer wissner bosserhoff, part of the Linet Group, is helping its customers expand their knowledge on the prevention and treatment of pressure injuries.

Worldwide Pressure Injury Prevention Day, held on 17 November 2022, saw the group’s clinical educators and Tissue Viability experts set up base in various facilities across the country to shine a light on this important topic. Linet Group hopes to raise awareness, share its in-house expertise, and offer useful resources to support facilities across the continuum of care.

To mark the occasion, the wissner bosserhoff UK team have also been sharing a series of useful pressure navigation guides and running some special promotions across the pressure care range. Care providers can take advantage of these offers for their own care facilities – not just this month, but into 2023. Cost savings can be made on the premium passive mattress range and on the Air 2 Care alternating pressure mattress systems.

The latest clinical guide - Why Alternate? - is being circulated to help give a wider understanding of the design and use of alternating pressure surfaces and how they are used specifically to prevent and support pressure care, covering finer detail on pressure injury development, alternating systems, load duration, cell configurations, and other factors that need to be taken into consideration.
