With a market-leading commitment to quality and using high-grade materials in a production process that meets all international standards, wissner bosserhoff mattresses are quality management system certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and 13485 and environmental management system certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001.
Upholding all regulatory standards, CRIB 5 protection, and being designed to combat infection control, Viskomatt mattresses are protected by a waterproof, vapour permeable, and antibacterial cover, providing durability and stability. The surface and sides are made of proven PERLASTIC® Silber according to the guidelines for bed hygiene in clinics and care.
The right specialist mattress plays a key role in an effective PUP (Pressure Ulcer Prevention) programme as well as the effective treatment of pressure injuries. The mattress profile has a ‘wave contour cut’ - without glue - for higher resting comfort as well as a better pressure release. An edge zone reinforcement of 10cm guarantees relief and increased safety and support when a resident moves off the edge of the bed to self-mobilise. The Viscolastic long-life foam means the mattress adapts depending on temperature and weight individually to every body shape, ensuring that the pressure is spread equally.
wissner bosserhoff also has a suite of PDF helpful guides that can be shared with care staff to help them demystify the complexities of the technologies available to them, which can be bewildering at times. The result: educating them and allowing them to be confident in procuring the right type of support surface to help target specific care goals for individual residents or their facilities.
