wissner-bosserhoff will be celebrating its 70th birthday with Care Show 2022 attendees at NEC Birmingham on 12-13 October.
Since 1952, from the development and production of its first hospital bed, which by tradition has involved working in close cooperation with physicians and nursing services to deliver ergonomics and comfort for patients and nursing staff, wissner-bosserhoff has followed a path focused on quality, safety, homeliness, and innovation.
Since merging with LINET spol. s.r.o. in 2011 to form the LINET Group SE. The group (consisting of LINET and wissner bosserhoff) has established itself as Europe's leading supplier of high-quality hospital and nursing home beds. Today, the company's portfolio includes solutions for clinical acute and intensive care as well as long-term and geriatric care. With production sites in Germany and Prague, as well as sales companies throughout Europe, Dubai, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Australia, LINET Group employs over 1,800 employees and operates in more than 110 countries.
In 2020, the group founded Smart Care Austria in Innsbruck, which grew out of a start-up. This newest part of the LINET Group takes care of the development of digital care assistants, which are becoming increasingly important in times of care emergencies and providing innovative solutions for some of the challenges being faced today with staff shortages, increased demand for care, and rising operator costs – both in elderly care and in clinics.
