wissner bosserhoff has launched what it calls ‘the most advanced digitally connected nursing bed on the market’ – the Sentida 7i.
The Sentida 7i is a premium offering with advanced functionality, designed to demonstrate how digital technology can sustainably relieve workloads and thus preserve valuable nursing time for the benefit of residents.
The bed allows direct input to the 7” LCD touchscreen CareBoard®, assisting with paperless administration and helping to save valuable documentation time. The touchscreen enables staff to organize functions in clear menus with simple and intuitive operation, and an energy saving mode allows automatic switch-off after 10 minutes. Security is key, with staff-only login menus featured.
Further, the calibrated integrated scale allows staff to weigh residents while in bed, cutting the use of hoists and wheelchairs, and enhancing resident comfort. These readings can be saved and displayed in intervals of weeks or months, helping to identify trends that can be used to improve one-to-one care. New ‘Save&Send’ functionality allows weight data to be sent to care documentation, saving at least 15 minutes per weighing procedure.
Another application of the integrated weigh scale is that a resident’s BMI can be directly monitored and evaluated in the Care Board, allowing early recognition of any nutritional or malnutrition issues that could impact overall health and wellbeing.
Other standard features include the bed exit early warning system, integrated safety sensors, and the ability to qualify alerts for the right priorities, again ensuring that time is used more effectively and efficiently while still keeping residents safe.
Sentida 7-i has all the important interface standards already integrated and uses proven standard health care protocols to transfer data. Find out more here.
