Care home furniture specialist Renray Healthcare has launched its new Carer Floor Bed.
Offering a low height of 7.5 cm, Renray’s new profiling bed is designed to allow residents and carers to position the bed very close to the floor, reducing the risk of injury for falls-prone residents.
Meanwhile, the 65 cm top height is ideal for delivering care and cleaning, with the bed boasting easy, wipe clean surfaces to assist in infection control, as well as an enhanced profiling system for improved positioning and reduced shear and friction.
With its five decades of designing care home furniture, Renray recognises that the prevention and management of falls is an important issue in maintaining the quality of life and independence of residents and should form part of a person-centred care approach.
Rob Scovell, marketing manager at Renray Healthcare, said: “The Carer Floor Bed helps mitigate liability of falls whilst offering the full benefits of a healthcare profiling bed. At Renray Healthcare, we design with you in mind.
“This pioneering new profiling bed was devised because of an obvious gap in the market for care homes who are concerned by risk surrounding falls. This is the latest product from our expert research and development team who are consistently striving to make care homes better for their residents through our furniture, products, and interior designs.
“We are thrilled to introduce our new product to the healthcare space. We have already had significant interest from some well known home groups, as well as independent homes.”
Renray offers a full spectrum service from concept and planning to logistics and installation. For more information see https://www.renrayhealthcare.com/renray-carer-floor-bed?utm_source=CHE&utm_medium=email&utm_id=floorbed
