Commercial laundry specialist WASHCO has added a new category to its 2022 Love Laundry Awards – the Engineer’s Choice Award.
The new award will give WASHCO the opportunity to highlight care homes that demonstrate exceptional standards of laundry management.
There are two other awards up for grabs: The Love Laundry Hero Award honours an individual who has gone above and beyond the call of duty, while the Love Laundry Care Home Award will be given to a care home that has implemented outstanding laundry processes.
According to WASHCO’s head of marketing & projects Emily Stoten: “Our engineers see first-hand all the fantastic work that goes on in care homes across the UK and the exceptional commitment that care teams show. This hard work often flies under the radar and our team wants to change that! Our engineers are looking forward to giving care homes some well-earned recognition with this new award.”
The winners of the three awards will be announced at the WASHCO stand (H50) during this year’s Care Show in October. The winner of the Love Laundry Hero will receive £250 to spend on electrical goods for themselves, while the Love Laundry Care Home and Love Laundry Engineer’s Choice winners will receive £500 to spend on electrical goods for their care homes.
