Flooring manufacturer Forbo has announced a selection of new contemporary designs for its vinyl sheet collection.
The improved Eternal de Luxe range reflects the very latest interior trends. There are 14 ‘wooden’ and six ‘stone-like’ designs, aimed at creating a ‘feel at home’ atmosphere in any commercial application. A selection of the wooden designs are embossed to provide an authentic finish. Forbo has also introduced new plank designs, up to 1.5m in length, including a large herringbone pattern.
All new designs incorporate Forbo’s acoustic construction, Decibel (17 dB), which is designed to provide underfoot comfort while reducing impact sound by 17 dB. The floor coverings are 100 per cent phthalate free and are produced using electricity from renewable resources.
Forbo marketing executive Lewis Cooper said: “The Eternal brand is renowned throughout the flooring industry for its exceptional quality and design offering, with millions of square metres installed every year. Now, we’re delighted to introduce our new-look Eternal de Luxe range, bringing with it the latest wood and colour trends in interior design. What’s more, the new collection is available in both 2m and 4m widths in order to achieve a seamless installation with very minimal joints. The Decibel (17 dB) version also offers an adhesive free installation up to 40 m2 – and when installed adhesive free, it can be fully recycled in line with the circular economy.
“The collection is also enhanced by our high-quality PUR Pearl and PUR Wood Pearl finishes making the floor covering easy to clean, whilst its lasting performance guarantees that it will stay in prime condition, even under heavy traffic conditions.”
