McGoff Construction has commenced work on a new Surrey care home for Barchester Healthcare.
The £9.5m home in Weybridge, Surrey, is McGoff’s 15th project for the care provider.
Following the demolition of an existing garden centre on the site on Seven Hills Road, work will now commence on a 64 bed, state-of-the-art home that will incorporate pre-assembled metframe technology. The home will provide both high-quality residential and dementia care, with construction work currently expected to complete in Summer 2023. The new home will form part of Barchester’s growing portfolio of some 200 care homes across the UK.
McGoff Construction, part of the McGoff Group, is a privately owned construction and integrated support services business. Of the new project, McGoff Construction Joint MD Declan McGoff said: “Securing our 15th scheme with our valued client Barchester is testament to the dedication and passion of our delivery teams built up over many years and over many successful projects.
