Care home builder Castleoak Care Partnerships ceases trading

Cardiff-based care home construction outfit Castleoak Care Partnerships has ceased trading.

In a statement, the company said the directors of Castleoak Care Partnerships Limited and its subsidiary, Castleoak Offsite Manufacturing Limited, took the decision on 22 October to stop trading and to make several staff redundant on 25 October.

“In recent days the directors’ focus has been on the staff who remain and in compassionately managing the redundancy process for the staff who have sadly leaved the business,” it added.

“Supply chain partners and customers are being contacted to explain the status of these two companies and the process being followed.”

Castleoak Care Partnerships was established in 1987 when the owners, the Knight family, began changing their family construction business into a specialist care home builder.

The statement continued: “The decision taken by the directors does not affect Castleoak Holdings Limited or its subsidiary, Castleoak Care Developments Limited, both companies continue to trade as normal.

“Following the closure of its construction and manufacturing businesses, Castleoak will focus on its later living real estate development business.”
