Elysian Residences has taken the wraps off the show apartment at its new Wildernesse House retirement village at a converted stately home in Kent dating back to 1327.
Wildernesse House in Sevenoaks, Elysian Residences’s third operational retirement village, consists of a total of 31 one- and two-bed apartments and mews houses.
Set within 24 acres of the Wildernesse Estate, which was acquired by Elysian in 2020, the main house features a collection of 23 apartments, including four heritage apartments.
Next to the main house are eight two-bedroom newly built mews houses.
The mews houses are designed to maximise the natural light and use materials that echo the architecture of the mansion and its woodland surroundings.
Shared facilities at the Grade II-listed converted property include a cocktail and coffee bar, the Pavilion restaurant, wellness centre with swimming pool, spa and gym.
The extensive gardens include 27,200 square metres of amenity lawn and 48,000 contract grown herbaceous shrubs and plants.
Elysian is creating a further 53 homes set in the southern section of the grounds that will be open in 2023.
