Maria Mallaband Care Group has kicked off construction of its £9.5m Lace Hill Manor care home in Buckingham.
The 62-bed luxury care home will provide large ensuite rooms, some with private patios, lounges, restaurants, communal areas, landscaped gardens, and luxury facilities, including a stunning orangery.
Located alongside the site of a new healthcare hub, the two-and-three-storey home will be set in landscaped grounds, with private and shared patios, quiet terraces and lawns, surrounded by planting, including topiary.
It is under construction by nursing home contractor Lawrence Baker Ltd.
“Our vision for the new Lace Hill care home is a luxurious five-star environment giving those living there everything they want, need and deserve, from the beautiful landscape grounds, to the architect-designed building, to the high-quality interiors,” said Daniel Turner-Naylor, operations director for new builds at Maria Mallaband.
“This home is going to be truly special, right down to fixtures, fittings and furnishings and the chef-created menus,” he added.
Lace Hill Manor is part of a nine care home pipeline Maria Mallaband will add to its portfolio over the next three to four years in an £80m investment programme.
The pipeline started with the £8m Windsor Court in Malvern, Worcestershire that opened in July. Other new homes include a development in Aylesbury to follow in 2022.
