According to Skills for Care1, care sector employers with a staff turnover of less than 10 per cent believed that investing in learning and development was one of the four main reasons their turnover was so low.
Now more than ever, retention of staff teams is key. But how do we engage a workforce in ongoing learning who are still working under the restrictions that have been imposed by Covid-19? How do we engage a new cohort of workers joining our sector from other industries and new generations of workers?
Following the outbreak of Covid-19, out of necessity and the absence of face to face training, there has been an increasing number of care providers looking to online training provision to ensure their existing staff teams and new starters are trained and equipped to continue to deliver the highest quality and safe care.
