The Health+Care event in London, which incorporates The Residential & Homecare Show, has been postponed until April 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The event was due to take place in June at the ExCeL centre in east London, which is being converted to the NHS Nightingale hospital to help tackle the crisis.
Next year’s Health+Care on 27-28 April will remain at ExCeL, event organiser CloserStill Media confirmed.
“As the largest gathering of health and care professionals in the UK, we are dedicated to supporting the sector at all times and believe that April 2021, when the NHS and social care will be through the winter, will be a great time to bring you all together at Health+Care,” said event manager Mike Corbett.
“The decision to move the event from its original June 2020 date has been made to avoid the peak of the Covid-19 outbreak in the UK, with the safety of delegates, sponsors and speakers the top priority,” he added.
The Health+Care also incorporates The Healthcare Show, The Digital Healthcare Show and The IPC & Patient Safety Show.
Corbett added: “We’re committed to supporting the incredibly hard-working NHS and social care professionals who are going above and beyond to help the country through this pandemic.”
