Westminster duo Goes for Gold

Gold Care Homes has acquired two residential properties in the London borough of Westminster formerly run by Sanctuary Care.

Carlton Dene (pictured), in Maida Vale, and Westmead, in Notting Hill, will operate under the Gold Care banner.

“We were approached by Westminster County Council directly, and we are honoured to be considered to take on these two additions into the Gold Care family,” said chief executive Ravi Gidar.

“Our teams have been working hard to ensure that we will improve the quality of care provided in these homes to enhance the residents experience – bringing them joy, happiness and fulfilment,” he added.

The acquisition of the two homes in Westminster will offer 42 beds each, on top of the current 1214 beds provided by Gold Care Homes.

Both homes are rated as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission.

The acquisition of Carlton Dene and Westmead brings the Gold Care Homes’ property portfolio to 23.
