Caresolve will be speaking about ‘the true cost of care’ at the Lancashire Care Association’s Spring Seminar next month.
Caresolve’s consultancy director Ben Challinor and finance director Richard Shore have been invited to give the seminar on Thursday, 4 May at Farington Lodge in Leyland, Preston.
They will be joined by Rachel Adamson, a partner at Stephensons Solicitors LLP who will also be giving a session on how to ensure that your care business is CQC compliant.
They will be tackling issues such as how to deal with an inaccurate CQC report before it goes into the public domain and affects your reputation.
The event is seen as an essential briefing and networking opportunity for care homes, home care proprietors and registered care managers.
Richard Shore says: “The care sector is under ever increasing financial pressure and it is crucial for operators and owners to understand and calculate the true cost of care.
“They need to be able to demonstrate clearly and effectively to a commissioner the evidence base for their charges when they are under pressure to accept fees they think are below the actual costs of care.
“The Caresolve team is experienced in dealing with all financial aspects of running a care home, whatever its size. We help care homes to run safe, successful and high-performing businesses.”
