Millennium Care Group is celebrating after all six of its Lancashire care homes were awarded ‘good’ ratings by the Care Quality Commission.
The care company, which has homes in Standish, Wigan, Chorley, Ramsbottom and Bury received its latest inspection report this month for Lakeside Nursing and Residential Home. This latest inspection confirms that all of its homes demonstrated safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led care during the unannounced inspections.
The inspection reports also note that the care team treat people with kindness and dignity and that they address people in a respectful manner.
During each of the inspections residents, their family members and staff were spoken to in order to gauge feedback on the quality of care delivered. Care records were also checked to ensure safe practices and good management.
Omair Haider, a member of Millennium Care’s senior management team, says: “We’re absolutely delighted to know that all six of our homes have been rated as good by the Care Quality Inspectors.
“The unannounced inspections are rigorous and rightly so. We know that our staff are committed to providing the best care for our residents and this endorsement is testament to their continued hard work.”
Millennium Care Group is also rated 9.3/10 on independent website carehome.co.uk which rates care homes across the country based on resident and family members feedback.
