Clegg Construction has won a second multi-million pound contract with a care home provider.
Nottingham based Clegg has been awarded a £4.6m contract with Cinnamon Care Capital to build a new care home in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
This follows on from the completion of a new luxury care home in Birstall, Leicestershire, built by Clegg Construction for the same provider.
Clegg was the main design and build contractor on the Birstall project, called Cedar Mews.
The £5.1m facility features 73 bedrooms, a cinema, bar, lounge and beauty salon as well as specialist facilities for residents with dementia and residents have now moved in.
The Bromsgrove care home, called Burcot Grange, will provide 56 en-suite bedrooms along with a hairdressing salon, coffee shop, reception area and landscaped gardens.
Primarily for residents with dementia, the building will be adjacent to the existing Burcot Grange care home operated by the Cinnamon Care Collection and is set to be completed in autumn 2017.
Simon Blackburn, managing director of Clegg Construction, says: “Repeat business forms a major part of Clegg Construction’s business model and we’re delighted our relationship with Cinnamon Care Capital continues. Cedar Mews is an excellent development, and Burcot Grange is progressing well.”
Kenneth MacKenzie, development director at Cinnamon Care Capital, says: “We are pleased to be contracting again with Clegg Construction following the recent successful completion of the Cedar Mews project.”
