The New Deanery residential care home in Bocking received a special visit from Braintree MP James Cleverly, who was impressed by the improvements that have been made under the ownership of Sonnet Care Homes.
On 20 January Mr Cleverly visited the multi-award winning care home which has been rated by the Care Quality Commission as ‘outstanding’ for leadership and ‘good’ in all other aspects covering care, safety, effectiveness and responsiveness.

“The recent grading by the Care Quality Commission is welcome and I know the team strives for an excellent grading in the near future.”
Julia Clinton, chief executive of Sonnet Care Homes, says: “It was an honour to welcome James Cleverly to our care home.
“A number of our residents and team members were keen to meet their MP, and Mr Cleverly was a real hit with everyone he spoke to. It was a truly special visit for us and we are very grateful to him for finding the time.”
