Raising awareness of bladder weakness

With around 3-6 million people in the UK experiencing incontinence, Attends is hoping to change the perception of the condition by introducing an over 50s campaign.

The campaign promotes two key messages: 'You can still be fashionable even with bladder weakness' and 'You can still be active even with bladder weakness'. Recent research has shown that incontinence sufferers often don't speak out about their condition and do not seek medical advice, but it is a necessity to do so in order to receive the best possible treatments and advice. Attends is trying to change this by creating more awareness of incontinence.
There are many myths around exercise and incontinence. Many claim that you shouldn't exercise at all as it can irritate your bladder further. However, although there are certain exercises that you should avoid, it is essential to stay active.
Attends provides innovative care products that enable people to maintain their sense of style and wants to give its customers honest and professional advice in order to improve their everyday life by boosting their confidence. Its research showed that this can be achieved by being fashionable and active.
